Further to this we are expanding our activities more generally into the environmental sector to include commercial recycling and the promotion of environmental awareness in the Southern Shropshire area.

Re-bike receives donated bicycles into their workshops for refurbishment. Once refurbished they are sold back to the public. As a result of Re-bike’s involvement with SCRL they are now selling their bikes through outlets hosted by other members, particularly the furniture schemes

The Project group
The Project Group, Oswestry, provides a creative environment for individuals in touch with mental health services to achieve at their own pace. They are an arts based community business working largely on art commissions for the public and private sectors.

Meole Brace Allotment and Garden club
The Allotment and Garden club has over 100 allotment holders spread across 3 sites around Meole Brace. In addition there are 60 – 70 members of the Gardening Club.

British Red Cross Young Carers
British Red Cross for Young Carers project in Shropshire provides help and support to children between the ages of 5 and 18 who provide care for another family member suffering from a physical/mental disability, illness or substance abuse problem. The project provides them with practical and emotional help and a safe environment where they can meet and make friends with children in a similar situation.
